Wondergeist

won · der · geist /ˈwʌndər.ɡaɪst/ noun A compound of the Old English wundor, meaning "a marvel, miracle, or object of astonishment," and the German Geist, meaning "spirit, mind, and intellect." Together, a wondergeist is a spirit of curiosity and marvel. One who moves through the world with an instinct for wonder, a mind attuned to pattern and meaning, and the intellectual restlessness to turn what they notice into something of value.
